Radost Theatre Studio

Do you want your children to spend their free time creatively and in a safe environment? To develop their imagination, speech, voice, movement, singing, dancing, artistic skills? Radost Theatre Studio offers year-round classes (throughout the school year) for children aged 6-12 years. Classes are most often held on the Radost Theatre Studio stage (Malá scéna), but we also use the Large stage (Velká scéna) or Ship (Loď) or Outdoor amphitheatre (Letní scéna). Children are divided by age into two groups. During special classes, children can try out different dance styles, singing and art activities such as making puppets or sets and props for the final production. They get to work in the lighting booth and the sound desk, and learn how to use a microphone or microport. They will also try their hand at theatrical make-up and manipulating different types of puppets.

The year-round lessons are oriented towards the rehearsal of a production, where the children use the acquired skills and try them out in practice. However, this is not the primary goal. At the end of the school year, the production (or an excerpt from it) will be performed for the public (parents, friends, and theatre lovers).
