We are announcing auditions for the Radost Theatre Studio for children aged 6 to 14!
The audition will take place on 26th August on the Small Stage of the Radost Theatre from 5 PM to 6:30 PM (entrance from Cejl Street). Participants will prepare one song and one poem (or short story) by heart and bring their exercise clothes.
Radost Theatre Studio (RDS) is a leisure activity for children that has been run by the Radost Theatre for several years. Under the guidance of our actors, they can try working with puppets, sets and props, their own voice and body in the safe environment of our theatre. They will also get to go into the lighting booth, to the sound desk and learn how to work the microphones or microports and try their hand at theatrical makeup! Children can develop their imagination, movement, speech, singing, dancing and artistic skills this way.
Children are divided into two groups based on age (Group I: 6 - 9 years, Group II: 9 - 14 years). The lessons take place during the school year, most often on the Small Stage, but sometimes also on the Large Stage, the Ship or on the Outdoor amphitheatre, every Tuesday and usually aim to create a production where the children put their acquired experience into practice. However, the production is not the main goal of RDS, it is the journey towards it, during which the children learn and have fun. They then present the resulting production (or an excerpt from it) to their families and the public at the end of the school year.
Group I is active every Tuesday from 2 PM to 4 PM , Group II from 4 PM to 6 PM. Tuition fee is 5500 CZK / year (can be paid for half a year). For more information please contact Radim Sasínek at: sasinek@divadlo-radost.cz
