Favorite fairy tale by Andersen?
Thumbelina is one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most popular fairy tales for the youngest children. The script and stage performance of this subtle yet exciting and attractive story work with the intimate environment of the Small Stage at the Radost Theater, where the children have the stage action almost within reach. Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale tells a story about a tiny girl who was born from a seed in a beautiful flower. Together with her, the children will experience a story full of adventure: how Thumbelina is kidnapped by a toad, how she finds refuge with a mouse, how she meets a selfish mole and a sick swallow, whom the little girl saves from death. The swallow then takes Thumbelina to a land where there are many flowers and plenty of sunshine, and where this little girl will finally find happiness.
