Puppet theatre performed in virtual reality? Yes! Puppentheater Zwickau invites you to join in with the help of VR glasses. An artificial world with 360° film technology. 3D and surround sound – that’s the ride offered by the German Puppentheater company. The spectator is immersed right in the middle of the action and watches an emotional battle with time between father and son, which is based on a poem by J. W. Goethe. 360° virtual puppetry is a new form of theatre that combines classical puppet theatre with the latest technology to bring the audience a very intense and previously unrecognized experience.
Quotes from reviews:
“Who rides so late at night in the wind?” In Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s poem, this ride becomes an emotional race against time, and not just for father and son. You too are right in the middle of the action and with VR glasses you can feel the story up close with its intensity and despair. Take a look around the world (virtual reality) of the Ghost King, you might just escape it!
