What should be the last performance before entering the acting heaven? Magical, fascinating, breathtaking and absolutely amazing. The last performance should be the one an actor wishes to play all his life. So what should it be? A Fimfarum! You're advising me Fimfarum? Werich was an actor, and to play Werich's Fimfarum before the actor knocks on the gate of heaven itself is an honour. And it is our actor Radim who will have this acting opportunity. The Fimfarum has been with Radim all his life, because Fimfarum are fairy tales from life. In his youth, the fairy tale of František Nebojsa gets entangled in his acting journey. In the army, he meets the story of Mr Čupera from the fairy tale When the Leaves Fall from the Oak Tree, and his later theatrical engagement is intertwined with the fairy tale How the Giants Became Extinct in Šumava.
The production, which playfully connects the life story of actor Radim Sasinek with Jan Werich's Fimfarum, was created for Radim's anniversary. In the form of an original theatre conducted under the direction of Ondřej Nosálek, we tell the story of the journey to the actor's heaven, but as it is usual with Jan Werich's fairy tales, every road, even the one to heaven, is paved with some kind of devil. What is it? You'll have to find out for yourself!
