Guests in Radost

Before our September programme begins, you can look forward to several guests we have invited to liven up the end of August and the beginning of September!

Coming up on August 29 at 4:30 PM, we welcome DNO Theatre with their archaeological Dinosaur Fairy Tale! Children ages 3 and up and their chaperones can enjoy the end of the holiday season and the beginning of the school year at our Summer Stage (Outdoor Amphitheatre). As well as dinosaurs, you will enjoy the humour, music and puppets of a now extinct flora in this play!

The very next week, on Tuesday 3 September at 5:30 PM, Studio DAMÚZA will stop by our Summer Stage with a performance of Ears for the Princess (5+) celebrating love between people and love of music.

In less than two weeks, on September 11 at 6 PM, we have invited Martina Viktoria Kopecká and Zbigniew Czendlik, who can be seen and heard on the Big Stage during the talkshow In the Dance Rhythm, for the older audience (12+). The Stardance finalist and a parish priest of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church and a Roman Catholic priest share, besides their faith, the belief that life should be a dance in different rhythms that one should dance through life....
The program includes a book signing by both actors.

The following day, 12 September at 6 PM, will again be in the spirit of puppet theatre, this time inspired by Asian aesthetics and philosophy, the world-renowned Brno Theatre Líšeň with its visually and musically captivating shadow play Tied Down by Grass (5+), which deals with respect for life in its subtle and often overlooked forms.

And on Friday, September 13, at 7 PM, the Military Art Ensemble Ondráš, a professional art ensemble established by the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic, will play and dance for you. Their performance From Region to Region is a presentation of folk culture of various ethnographic regions not only of Bohemia and Moravia, but also of Slovakia and other regions of the Carpathian arch. And the very next day, on Saturday 14 September at 10 AM, they will perform a dance theatre for children, The World of Toys, which is the story of a boy Rudolf and a doll Káťa, who meet different toys and gradually discover that even toys do not always behave properly. This performance for children will be staged to celebrate the 70th anniversary of VUS Ondráš, please make a booking here.
